  1. Creating a Program Manager icon is easy.  You can either add one by the drag-
  2. and-drop method, or from the 'File' menu.
  3.  
  4. For example, suppose you use an anti-virus program several times a day.
  5. It would be easier to launch this program if it were an icon, instead of
  6. searching through directories, finding the executable file, and then launching
  7. it.  To create an icon, you would 'drag' the filename of the executable
  8. program onto an empty space of the desktop.  An information box will pop up
  9. stepping you through the icon-creation process.  It will ask you the name of
  10. this icon.  You might type 'Anti-Virus'.  It will then ask you for any
  11. parameters the program requires.  If it does require parameters or you want
  12. to password protect this icon, click on YES.  After entering the parameters or
  13. password, a Browse box will pop up allowing you to choose an icon graphic.
  14. To the right of the directory is an area displaying the icons that you click
  15. on.  When you find an appropriate icon, click on OK.  Now the icon will be
  16. appear on the desktop.  You can run the program just by left-clicking on the
  17. icon.
